Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Dynamic Methods (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use the Atelier app for macOS (“Atelier”) and this website. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

The short version

• Atelier runs on your Mac. Your code, projects, personas, settings and chat history stay there.
• We don't run accounts, and we don't sell or share your personal information for advertising.
• Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, not by us.

The Atelier app

Atelier stores your projects, personas, settings and chat history in your Application Support folder on your Mac. We don't receive a copy of this data, and Atelier doesn't send us your code or your conversations.

Each persona is a Claude Code session that runs under your own Claude Code login. When a persona works on a project, your prompts and the files it reads are sent to Anthropic through that session. Anthropic handles this data under its own terms and privacy policy, not this one. Atelier never asks for or stores your Claude credentials.

To start a session, Atelier runs the Claude Code ACP adapter through npx, which downloads the adapter from the npm registry. That download is governed by npm's own terms.

Buying Atelier

Lemon Squeezy is our reseller and merchant of record. When you buy Atelier, Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing details and payment information, and processes the payment. We receive your name, email address, country and order details so we can deliver your purchase, issue your licence and provide support. We never see your full card details. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy applies to the information it collects.

This website

This website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. When you open the checkout, Lemon Squeezy's script loads from its own servers and may set the cookies it needs to run the checkout.

How we use your information

We use the information we receive to:

• deliver your purchase and manage your licence
• answer support requests and emails you send us
• tell you about important changes to Atelier or these policies
• meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run Atelier, such as Lemon Squeezy and Cloudflare, or when the law requires it. Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

Keeping and protecting information

We keep order records for as long as we need them to support your licence and to meet our legal obligations, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Your choices

You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or to delete it where we aren't required to keep it. To delete the data Atelier stores on your Mac, remove Atelier's folder from your Application Support folder.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of this page when we do, and tell you by email if a change significantly affects you.
