End User Licence Agreement

This End User Licence Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and Dynamic Methods (“we”, “us”) and covers your use of the Atelier app for macOS, including any updates we provide (“Atelier”). By installing or using Atelier, you agree to this Agreement. If you don't agree, don't install or use it.

1. Licence

When you buy Atelier, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to install and use it on Macs that you own or control, for your personal or business use. Atelier is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted to you.

2. Restrictions

You must not:

• sell, rent, lend, sublicense or otherwise distribute Atelier or your licence to anyone else
• share your licence so that other people can use Atelier without buying their own
• copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble Atelier, except where the law allows it despite this restriction
• remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notices in Atelier
• use Atelier in breach of any law

3. Claude Code and third-party services

Atelier needs Claude Code, Node.js and git, which you install and run yourself. Each persona is a Claude Code session under your own Claude account or plan. Your use of Claude Code and Anthropic's services is governed by Anthropic's terms, and Anthropic bills you for that usage directly. It isn't included in the price of Atelier.

We don't control these third-party tools and services and aren't responsible for their availability, behaviour or changes. Atelier is an independent app and isn't made or endorsed by Anthropic. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic.

4. Your projects and what personas do

Personas can read your projects and, depending on the permissions you give them, edit files, run commands, push branches and use MCP tools. You choose those permissions and are responsible for the changes personas make and the commands they run.

Permission checks, including push detection, are best-effort and aren't a security boundary. Review changes before you rely on them, keep your projects under version control, back up your work, and protect important branches on your git host.

5. Updates and support

We may release updates that fix bugs, add features or change how Atelier works. We aren't obliged to provide updates or support, or to keep Atelier compatible with future versions of macOS, Claude Code or other third-party tools.

6. Payment and refunds

Lemon Squeezy is our reseller and merchant of record and processes your payment. For refunds, email us at support@dynamicmethods.com.au. Nothing in this Agreement limits any right you have to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that apply to you.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this Agreement excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by any law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where we are allowed to limit our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying Atelier again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

8. Disclaimer

Subject to section 7, Atelier is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties and conditions, express or implied, including that Atelier will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

Subject to section 7, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, code, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of Atelier, including changes made or commands run by personas. Our total liability to you under or in connection with this Agreement is limited to the amount you paid for Atelier.

10. Termination

This Agreement continues until it ends. It ends automatically if you breach it. When it ends, you must stop using Atelier and delete all copies. Sections 3, 4 and 7 to 11 survive after it ends.

11. General

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update this Agreement from time to time. The version in force when you install an update applies to that update.
